A speciality of the Calabria region, Spianata Piccante is made using the finest, lean pork mince, pork fat, chilli pepper and spices. The meat is placed into casing and pressed to give the distinctive squashed shape. Owing to its strong, succulent, spicy flavour, Spinata Piccante is one of the most popular Southern Italian cured meats worldwide.
